La Pâtisserie Paris began as La Pâtisserie STL, founded by the talented Kitt Villasis Corbin, whose international culinary experience and training under world-renowned chefs such as Gordon Ramsay brought a fresh, fashion-forward approach to French pastry. Her artistry blended French and Asian influences, creating signature delights such as themed afternoon teas that captured the hearts of her guests.
After her Alzheimer’s diagnosis, Kitt Villasis-Corbin chose Natacha Douglas to carry forward the legacy she so beautifully created.
In 2025, Dr. Natacha Douglas, a native of Guadeloupe, France, acquired the bakery and began a new chapter, transforming La Pâtisserie STL into La Pâtisserie Paris.
A charismatic leader and entrepreneur, Dr. Douglas holds both an MBA and a Doctorate in Health Professions Education from the United States. After becoming one of the youngest Vice Presidents in higher education, she turned her lifelong passion for French culture into a culinary mission, bringing authentic and elevated French experiences to her community.
Her first creation, French Crêperie, introduced St. Louis to the art of the authentic French crêpe. She later opened La Vie Vegan, a plant-based, French-inspired café, before expanding with La Pâtisserie Paris to continue her vision of blending French tradition, elegance, and innovation in every pastry and cup of tea served.

Charlotte brings more than 20 years of fine dining experience to her role as General Manager of La Pâtisserie Paris. A gifted baker and the owner of Lady Bakes STL LLC, she has dedicated years to perfecting her art and creating refined, memorable culinary moments. Her passion for French flavors, delicate pastries, and warm hospitality enriches the authentic tearoom experience we offer each day.
